Six numbers people already remember

Every listing carries its numbering plan, its carrier of record, and the traits our grader found in it. These nine are drawn from the blocks regulators hold back for film and television β€” Ofcom's 07700 900xxx range and the North American 555-01xx range β€” so no listing here is anyone's real line. Live inventory arrives with the carrier connection.

Pattern grader

Type a number. See what it's worth.

The same grader that scores every listing. It reads the national significant number, finds repeats, ladders, mirrors and zero-blocks, then prices against the carrier floor.

Digits only β€” country code is set by the carrier block you list under.

β€” β€”
Estimated floor β€”

From SIM to title

Four steps, one of them irreversible

Ownership only means something if the number can actually leave. Every Phonex title ends where it started: at a carrier, in your name.

STEP 01

Verify

You prove control of the MSISDN with a one-time code. Phonex reads the number's carrier of record and its numbering plan.

STEP 02

Escrow

A licensed carrier partner places a portability lock on the line. The number can't be ported out except by the title holder.

STEP 03

Mint

The title is issued as an ERC-721 on Robinhood Chain. Metadata records the E.164 string, country code, graded traits and escrow agent.

STEP 04

Trade or port

Sell, bid, or burn the title to release the lock and port the number to any carrier with a signed LOA. Burning is final.

Trait taxonomy

What makes a number expensive

Multiples are against the carrier floor β€” what an ordinary number in the same block sells for. Traits stack, but the strongest one dominates the grade.

Blocks reserved by regulators never reach the market: Ofcom's 07700 900xxx range and the North American 555-01xx range exist for film and television, and Phonex rejects them at verification. Numbers carrying tetraphobic digits are graded down in markets where a four reads as unlucky.

Title, not tenancy

What you actually own

The title

A transferable token that names one E.164 number and one escrow agent. Transfer the token and the right to the number moves with it β€” no support ticket, no account transfer form.

The exit

The right to port out on demand. Burn the title, sign the LOA, and the number lands at the carrier of your choice. Nobody at Phonex can hold it back.

The upside

Resale at whatever the market pays, with a 2% royalty routed back to whoever first put the number on-chain. Rented numbers never paid anyone but the carrier.

Your Number.
Your Asset.

Bring the number you already have, or take one nobody forgets.
